Robert Silva’s Sunday afternoon: he cleaned the gratifi with his family

He shared a video on his Twitter account where he and his family are seen painting over the message that I read “Education belongs to the people” Y “Robo Silva Cntrl +C Cntrl+V” (for the computer commands to copy and paste, referring to a complaint of plagiarism in a document of the educational reform).

“After overcoming the first impact, strengthened and in family. Thanks to so many…”, wrote the president of Codicen.

After the complaint that Silva made through Twitter about the vandalization of his facade, President Luis Lacalle Pou expressed his support for him and for the reform promoted by his government. “One more reason to go ahead with the transformations, Robert. If education is needed. All personal and professional support,” the president wrote.

The Trade Union of Education Training Teachers (Sidfe) he sympathized with the director of Codicen as a result of this fact. “We repudiate the anonymous attack that Codicen president Robert Silva received at his home, as well as the attempts to attribute this action to the popular movement”indicates a statement released by the union.

That same letter also rejects statements made by Senator Graciela Bianchi, who “attacked the student movement comrade Maximiliano Santos and our comrade Andrés Bentancor.”

In this sense, since last week, students and teachers demonstrate in various educational centers in claim of more budget for public education and, mainly, in rejection of the educational transformation that is promoted by the ANEP. These occupations will continue this week: Monday they will go to the Institute of Professors Artigas (IPA).
