Silva published this Saturday, August 20, a photograph of the frontispiece of his home in which two graffiti can be read with black spray on a white background: “Education belongs to the people”, and “Robo Silva. Cntrl + C, Cntrl + V” (copy, paste), referring to possible plagiarism in a document on educational transformation.

“Today my home woke up like this. Aggression and intolerance will not stop the change in education, a process in which we are and will continue!” Silva expressed on her Twitter account.

Likewise, the head of education told Underlined that he will make the corresponding criminal complaint and present the record of the security cameras that show the moment in which the graffiti was made.

Repudiation

For its part, the National Federation of Secondary Education Teachers (FENAPES) expressed its “total rejection of this type of aggression.”

“The historical budget cut, the reform without teachers and students and the violation of rights are fought in the corresponding democratic spheres,” said the teachers’ union.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Education and Culture said about the event: “It is the Uruguay that we do not want.”
