MADRID, Spain.- The popular Cuban comedian Limay Blanco denounced this Tuesday that one or several people broke into his house in Havana, taking advantage of the fact that he is on tour in the eastern part of the island.
“I know that you were waiting for this video, because you surely follow me on the networks, you know that I am on tour, you know that I was not at home. I want to dedicate this video to you,” said the comedian in a recording shared on his social networks.
As he explained, a pregnant sow was stolen from him. He has not yet been able to verify everything that was taken from him because he is currently in Holguín.
Limay Blanco expressed that “there is a lot of need” in Cuba, but that does not justify crime.
“If you got into my house you know me, you know how I am with the whole neighborhood, with the whole world. I don’t know if I deserved that, ”said the comedian, who is known for his humanitarian aid and his project“ Christ changes lives ”.
Despite the robbery, Blanco said at various times during the recording that he did not hold a grudge against whoever or those who robbed him, that God will take care of justice: “My brother, may God have mercy on you. I am going to rest in God, I am a Christian. Since I accepted Christ, he has never left me ashamed, ”he said in this regard.
The comedian assured that he will not abandon his tour, the profits of which he intends to raise for the purchase of premises for his church of the ministry “Christ changes lives.”
For the festivities of the past New Year’s Eve, Blanco organized a dinner and invited dozens of Cubans to say goodbye to 2022.
After making this complaint, numerous Internet users have expressed solidarity with him. Even, according to what he recounted, a lady called him and offered him “to raise a pig in her pigsty, which is secure.” In addition, he adds, “a man who owns a pigsty calls me to donate me a farrowing sow, but that is not the issue and I sincerely thank the people who want to help.”
