They grabbed a young man who was allegedly a thief, they searched him to see if he had stolen objects.
The robberies and assaults that are recorded daily in the fourth ring, an area of the Piraí ecological cordon, They filled the patience not only of the neighbors, but also of the deliveries that must travel along that route to deliver their orders.
Faced with this situation, on Monday night they joined forces and went out in search of the criminals. They captured some alleged thieves and handed them over to the police.
“They don’t respect anything, they rob children who go to school, people who go out to buy, pregnant women and everyone who passes through here, We are already tired of so many robberies, we cannot live like this, we need an in-depth solution that is not just potholes,” said one of the neighbors.
They indicate that this sector has become a red zone, although the robberies and assaults are not recent. The anger of the deliveries and neighbors occurred as a result of the event that occurred over the weekend, when one of the delivery men was assaulted by two individuals who stole his cell phone and the Bs 500 he had earned.
“I was on my way to deliver an order, I was heading to Busch Avenue when they called me, I grabbed my cell phone and answered, but in that two antisocials approached from behind and surprised me, one grabbed me by the neck and the other stole my cell phone and money, “the victim denounced.
The deliveries reached a precarious house where the thieves allegedly took refuge.
This fact led to a hundred deliverys, from different companies, to make a caravan in search of criminals. In the ecological cordon they caught a young man who was beaten and they confiscated his backpack before handing him over to a police officer, who came to the scene.
They arrived at a precarious house where there was a foreign man. YoThey entered and after refuting everything they found junk, some car radios, wallets and even a passport and an identity card.
The foreigner claimed to be just a caretaker of the house, but the workers insisted on handing him over to the police. Finally, they moved on to other areas, yelling at the thugs not to hide, although they were unable to catch anyone.
In a precarious house they found vehicle radios, knives, wallets, among others.
“We only ask the authorities to give us an answer, last night we blocked Busch Avenue because we are tired of this situation,” said another neighbor. “The police tell us that if we beat them up and something happens to them, we can rather go to jail, so what can we do,” said another neighbor.
The neighborhood leader of the 2 de Abril neighborhood, Henry Martínez, indicated that so far they have only received temporary solutions.since the criminals are released after eight hours of arrest.
“Qwe will have one solution background where all the authorities, both from the AMayor, Governor’s Office and even the National Government and the Police,” said Martinez, who in companyto other leaders neighborhood moved this Tuesday morning to the deputy mayor of the District 1 to talk with the deputy mayor.
There are about 39 neighboring neighborhoods in the area of District 1, but more than 15 are close to the ecological cord.

They claim that, despite the fact that from time to time two police vans circulate, these are parked at some point, but their informers even fall asleep and the assaults continue to be recorded anyway.
Another of the assault methods used by criminals in this area is to pass themselves off as passengers, so taxi drivers have also been victims. Like passers-by waiting for public transportation, thieves use force and frighten them with bladed weapons to take their belongings.
The Police repeatedly emphasize that there is no rehabilitation center for this group of people, since they are mostly homeless people, lowlifes and dedicated to stealing, but the law orders their arrest for eight hours and they must release them again.
The delivery caravan received support from the neighbors who also went out to block the fourth ring
