More than 200 people work to clean up debris in La Gasca. Emergency groups continue to search for missing persons.
More personnel joined the cleaning and removal of vestiges, a total of 200 people in the territory and more than 3,500 cubic meters of material were removed from the roads.
The Municipality of Quito reported that in the afternoon, the vehicular intersection of Gaspar de Carvajal and av. La Gasca was partially enabled.
While the circulation in the south-north direction, on av. August 10 was reactivated in its two lanes.
However, main roads such as Av. América, La Gasca, Alonso de Mercadillo sections of Marchena and Cordero streets still continue with tasks of lcleaning of sinks and debris removal. (AVV)
