Road infrastructure on the NL border will cost more than 4,600 million pesos

As part of the Mobility Master Plan for the state, Governor Samuel Garcia Sepulvedaannounced an investment of more than 4,600 million pesos, for the construction of the La Gloria-Colombia highway, the modernization of the section from Salinas Victoria to the Colombia Bridge.

Governor Samuel García Sepúlveda, accompanied by the Secretary of Mobility and Urban Planning, Hernán Villarreal, pointed out that the La Gloria-Colombia road will be state-of-the-art with concrete pavement.

“These highways presented by the Secretary of Mobility are so important, so valuable that they had been planned for more than 30 years in the drawer, but nothing was done.”

“Today it finally starts, the land is there, the money is there, and today it was put out to tender; and it’s not just any road, it’s a concrete road, with the latest technology so that it lasts and then they don’t go around stealing with spell maintenance,” stressed the leader.

“With the ‘Muevo León’ Master Plan we are going to combat the backwardness caused by the abandonment of highways and we are going to carry out a modernization like never before. Three components, the expansion of the state highway; second, the new Gloria- Colombia; and then the highway that comes from Salinas Victoria to the municipality of Anáhuac,” said the Secretary of Mobility.

In turn, the Secretary of Regional and Agricultural Development, Marco González, reported that he is already working with United States authorities to install a security filter for cargo transport on the Colombia Bridge.

On the other hand, in the presence of the mayor of Anáhuac, Desiderio Urteaga, the state president handed over four patrol cars to reinforce the security of the citizens of the area.

“I want to deliver four patrols to you so that they can start taking care of the people and the roads that are coming (…) Without so much formality, I want to tell you that I am very happy to come to inaugurate and that the tenders for three very important for the country, not only for Nuevo León, not only for Anáhuac,” he said.

García Sepúlveda also invited the mayor to work without ties, without political pressure and all for the benefit of the citizens of Anáhuac.

They will build housing

As part of the development project in the region, the government of Nuevo León, through Fomerrey, made available 400 lots for the construction of basic housing units, which will later have deeds.

The head of the unit, Eugenio Montiel Amoroso, pointed out that this action, in synergy with the municipality, will be carried out on available land in the Lomas de Anáhuac neighborhood, first and second sectors, with an investment of more than 10 million pesos.
