At kilometer 54 of the Central Regional Highway, heading Valencia-Caracas, the “Francisco de Miranda” Road Assistance and Citizen Assistance Module was inaugurated, aimed at strengthening road safety and offering immediate citizen assistance as part of the 16th anniversary of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB).
The space is equipped with bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, administrative offices and first aid areas with essential medicines. It also has a place designed for citizens and officials to rest.
In this regard, the Minister of Popular Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello, highlighted that this space is designed to serve any citizen who suffers an accident on the road. “Here there will be ambulances, tow trucks, patrol cars, motorcycles and officials available. It is a comprehensive care module at the service of the people,” he stated after ensuring that the services that will be offered are completely free.
Likewise, he highlighted that the place has various cameras to monitor sectors of the highway, this as part of the policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro to guarantee the security and tranquility of the Venezuelan people. “We add protection to the people, to the citizen, we do not ask anyone for a political card, it is enough that they have the need to be attended to (…) to any citizen at any time, we have to protect the families,” he assured.
