During yesterday’s session, the Public Ministry of La Araucanía, affirmed through its spokesman Luis Torres, that they cannot initiate an investigation ex officio or incorporate antecedents into an ongoing case if the Executive does not proceed to initiate legal action. This was replicated by the government spokesperson, Camila Vallejo, who indicated that “it is not about filing complaints upon complaints, because there are already many filed in this regard.”
Given this, Chahuán stated that “I want to tell you that RN, which is the only party that has sued in the cases, four cases in which we have filed our complaints, we are going to file the complaint against Mr. Llaitul for the Security Law of the State, in its fourth articles, letter F and sixth article”.
