RN asks the Servel to ask the Prosecutor for new information on Karina Oliva's campaign financing

Deputies from the National Renewal sent a letter addressed to Andrés Tagle, president of the board of directors of Servel, so that said body requests the Public Ministry to report the new information on the case of Karina Oliva, who has already reported her financing in the campaign that she had as Candidate for Metropolitan Governor.

Parliamentarians Andrés Celis, Camila Flores, José Miguel Castro and Miguel Becker, added to the official letter the defenses formulated before the body by the Supreme Court of the Partido Comunes, to resolve whether these new precedents warrant that the Servel “take the criminal action that the law has entrusted him”, as indicated in their statement.

Incidentally, the RN legislators also requested that the electoral account given by President Gabriel Boric, when he was a candidate in the primaries, be reviewed. This, after Oliva pointed to his party partner, Camila Rojas, as the deputy who asked him to “include invoices that do not correspond” to his campaign, “but to that of a candidate for the primaries of July 18, 2021 “.

To do this, they asked for the testimony of Daniel Arancibia Guerra, former administrator of the Boric and Giorgio Jackson account, who before becoming a minister was the campaign manager of his friend and colleague.

“Something smells bad about the fear or fright that Minister Jackson and people linked to Mr. Boric’s campaign may have regarding the information that Mrs. Oliva would have delivered at the time, beyond the fact that now it seems that they would have calmed her down,” he commented. Celis.

“But there are other people who would seem to be more nervous, such as deputies (Claudia) Mix and (Camila) Rojas, and that is why I asked that deputy Mix be suspended from her role as vice president,” she determined.

Complementing, Camila Flores expressed her interest in having a prompt response. “Clarifying this situation is fundamental, especially regarding those people who said that they came to change the bad practices in politics, to change everything bad and old that they called politics, and we realize that, at the end of the day, They keep doing more of the same,” he said.

For his part, until now, Minister Giorgio Jackson has ruled out irregularities in the financing of Gabriel Boric’s campaign in the presidential primaries. And in turn, from Argentina, the president said this week that “we will always be available for any investigation. There is nothing to hide here.”
