Metro de Santiago, together with the Metropolitan Presidential Delegation, began work to reopen the main access to the Baquedano station, which has been closed since the social outbreak.

As a result of the situation, both Metro and the RM Presidential Delegation met with residents of the sector to discuss the reopening of the station. However, those who occupy the place have not participated in the dialogues.
One of the occupants of the place explained to the aforementioned medium that “Metro is not offering us anything. We have not attended the meetings because we know that the institutional framework will never allow this space to be maintained as we want. What we demand is that the garden remains as it is now, that there is no opening to the Baquedano metro, that there is no such access”.
