Marcelo Gallardo (48) will be presented on Monday at the Monumental stadium as the club’s coach River Platewith which he achieved a long saga of national and international titles in his first stage (2014-2022). The popular Argentine club confirmed the return through its social networks, without mentioning Gallardo but giving some clues through an image of the tie that characterized the successful coach.
“Everything is ready,” River said. “This Monday, August 5 (…) River will present its new coach at a press conference,” added the publication in X. Gallardo, 48, won 14 titles at River, including seven international competitions, six national cups and one local league since he took over in mid-2014.
