Officials from the National Risk Management System (SNGR) are deployed with the inspection in the 72 kilometers (km) of the Guaire River System and the southern slope of the Waraira Repano National Park in its 14.5 km of Boyacá Avenue. The information was disseminated by the team of the Ministry of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace through its social networks.
A total of 30 observation and monitoring points were established to maintain an early warning of possible sudden and aggressive increases in water flows.
SNGR personnel carry out these preventive actions to avoid, mitigate and reduce possible damages and impacts that may be generated by a possible overflow caused by hydrometeorological events or phenomena. The deployment is carried out with the aim of reinforcing the 2024 Rain Plan, established by the National Government.
