Due to the approach of a cold front coming from the ocean, Saturday (28) in the city of Rio de Janeiro is expected to have cloudy and overcast skies and isolated light to moderate rain at any time of the day. The winds will be predominantly moderate, with the maximum temperature not exceeding 25ºC, according to the Rio Alert System, run by the city council.
During Friday (27), the winds were moderate with strong gusts and temperatures declined compared to the previous day, with a minimum recorded of 19.4ºC at 6am at the Jacarepaguá station of the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) and a maximum recorded at 33.6°C at 1:40 pm at Irajá station.
Between Sunday (29th) and Tuesday (1st), there will be a gradual reduction in cloud cover, with no rain forecast in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Winds will be predominantly moderate. For Sunday, the maximum temperature begins to rise, reaching 28ºC.
For Monday, (30) the maximum should reach 31ºC and, for the following day, the temperature increases, reaching 34ºC.
