The death of a boy, in the Barreira do Vasco community, is being investigated by the Homicide Police Station in the capital. The objective is to determine the dynamics of the facts and if there was direct participation of military police officers of the reserved service in the occurrence.
Ruan do Nascimento, 27, was shot on Friday night (6) when he was going to the barbershop. According to his family, he had an intellectual disability. Residents reported that an unmarked car, with military police in plain clothes, was at the scene of the crime when the shot was fired that hit Ruan.
“The Capital Homicide Police Station (DHC) launched an investigation to investigate the case. The military police were heard and had the weapons collected for expertise. Diligences are in progress to clarify all the facts”, informed the Civil Police.
The Military Police also manifested itself, through a note, confirming that police officers had gone to the place where the boy was hit claiming there was a confrontation in the region. At the scene, they found an injured man, who was transported to the Souza Aguiar Municipal Hospital.
“The press office of the Secretary of State for the Military Police informs that military police officers from the 4th BPM (São Cristóvão) reported that they had gone to check a place of illegal copper trading in the locality of Café, near the Barreira do Vasco community, in São Cristóvão, at night. on Friday (6), where there was a confrontation during the check”, informed the PM.
In the same note, the corporation said that a grenade, a radio communicator and 240 packets of crack had been seized.
