The Whereabouts Discovery Sector of the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station (DHBF) is responsible for the investigation into the disappearance of five men who were in an app car, including the driver, and the other young people between 21 and 28 years old.
According to initial information, they were on their way to a mall in Nova Iguaçu, when they were captured by hooded and armed men in the Valverde neighborhood.
According to the Secretary of State for Civil Police (Sepol), the homicide station is also trying to locate the men. “The case was forwarded to the Whereabouts Discovery Sector of the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station (DHBF) for investigation and location of the victims.”
The case was even registered at the Nova Iguaçu Police Station, but the DHBF took over the investigations.
