The Institute for Housing Planning and Promotion of Río Negro (IPPV) implemented a new regulation that offers the possibility of deeding a home in favor of only one of the spouses or cohabitantsin this way either party can give up 50% of the property, they officially reported today.
The previous regulation required that the holder of the registration be “the” heads of the familyIn this way, only the man with 100% of the housing award benefited.
Another point of the new regulations is that men will not be able to enter an IPPV housing plan if they owe food quotas.
Through resolution No. 1646/22, published this Tuesday, from now on The property may be deeded in the province in favor of only one of the spouses or cohabitants if a free or private judicial mediation process previously took place.
“In this case, that a property division agreement has been reached in which the party who ceases to inhabit the home receives compensation of 50% of the home that he resigns, computed at updated market value,” the sources explained. .
“If the pre-judicial mediation agreement is not possible, the deed of the awarded home will be made in the name of only one of the spouses or cohabitants,” they indicated.
In the event that there is no pre-judicial mediation or judgment, and whenever possible, the house will be deeded in the name of both.
Another of the points modified by the provincial resolution is that To enter an IPPV housing plan, men must present a certificate that proves that they are not in arrears due to owing alimony.
Finally, the third point indicates that Entry into a home will not be accepted in the case of spouses or cohabiting couples who are in the process of separating and with a history of gender violence.
In this case, although the adjudication may be joint as a measure of positive discrimination in favor of a historically vulnerable group, only women will be allowed to inhabit the house.
