Students who will participate in the National High School Exam (Enem), this Sunday (13) and next (20), will be able to use the subway nd Rio de Janeiro, for free. For this, they must present proof of registration for this year’s exam and photo ID.
Transport will be free on test days. On these Sundays, the subway will run from 7 am to 11 pm. Gratuity does not apply to surface subway integrations.
With the message “Shine on the Enem”, the so-called “Free Pass for Education” movement is a partnership between MetrôRio and the Estácio university and the company Bic. Conceived by together with Eletromidia and Artplan, the objective of the movement, according to the organizers, is to help students by paying for the round trip tickets on test days.
About 50,000 students will take the Enem exams in the city of Rio. In addition to the free fees, Estácio and BIC will carry out various activities at the Carioca station of MetrôRio, in order to motivate and encourage students before the test.
