The Civil Defense of Petrópolis, in the mountainous region of Rio, also warns of moderate to very strong winds at dawn and throughout this Tuesday (9) in the city.
The city asks the population to avoid open areas, stay away from trees, metal structures and loose objects.

At home:
- Close the windows, tilting and cabinet doors to avoid wind pipes inside.
- Blinds, curtains or blecaurs should also be closed to prevent shrapnel from spreading, if any window breaks;
