Tickets for the two days of parades by the samba schools from Série Ouro, the former Access group, are sold out. According to Liga RJ, responsible for schools, all tickets for Friday (13) and Saturday (14) have already been sold. There are seven schools that present themselves on the first day and eight on the second. The champion of this group, the following year, parades in the Special Group of the Independent League of Samba Schools (Liesa). Likewise, the last placed team in the Special Group will be demoted and, in the following carnival, will march in the Gold Series.
Just like last season, the public will guarantee maximum capacity in the stands. The big difference is that, for the 2026 Gold Series, tickets were fully sold more than three weeks in advance of the parade days. On both days, the parades will start at 9pm.
The president of Liga RJ, Hugo Junior, celebrated the result and highlighted the importance of the public’s presence for the success of the parades.
“It is a great joy to know that we will have the Marquês de Sapucaí full once again. This shows the strength of the Gold Series, the work of the schools and the affection of the public. I am sure that they will be great parades, with a lot of spectacle, emotion and a high artistic level”, he stated.
