For Ricardo Valdesformer Deputy Minister of the Interior, what he has said Vladimir Cerron could be infringing article 366 of the Penal Code for the incitement to violence that has been mentioned to initiate a constituent Assembly in a ‘non-peaceful’ way.
“From my point of view, I do consider that what Vladimir Cerrón has said has to be seen by the lawyers and above all by the Judiciary – which has just dismissed the request of the Public Ministry for violation of rules of conduct – to verify if it is that he is not infringing article 366 of the Penal Code. Since Vladimir Cerrón is addressing himself in an aggravated manner, because he is threatening, intimidating and generating non-compliance with what the Congress of the Republic has established by shelving the proposal of the Constituent Assembly”said.

On the other hand, he also referred to the variation of the legal measure against one of the nephews of President Pedro Castillo.
“That is the Judiciary and those are our courts. (…) It generates indignation, irritation, but that does not imply that the process will not continue, it will continue. The nephew will have to show his face and stand up straight, but if he continues to rebel, his situation is going to get complicated”he concluded.
