Ricardo Preda will represent the Zapag family after the brutal attack suffered by Benjamín Zapag

Blas Zapag, former president of the Cerro Porteño Club and father of Benjamín Zapag, a 19-year-old boy who was attacked over the weekend at the Morgan nightclub, informed 730 AM that lawyer Ricardo Preda will legally represent the family.

“We go through the most difficult hours of our lives. Lack of control is almost daily in our society. We want to transmit a voice of claim, attention to young people and parents. It is very dangerous if this continues because it can lead to consequences in society, ”she said.

He reported that the facial damage suffered by the teenager was very important since he has received more than two to three blows in the area that suffered enormous damage. The surgeons, instead of putting a prosthesis, put a platinum in the damaged area.

“He (because of Benjamin) is a young athlete, quite healthy who follows nutrition. Thank God he was with our driver who knows that he should be close to our children at night. Pedro Báez understood the situation and arrived home in less than 10 minutes, it was a huge blessing to have his help”, he stated.

Blas Zapag did not want to specify if Benjamin suffered retinal detachment. He also reported that the Prosecutor’s Office is already working to clarify this fact.

“I prefer to omit who the aggressors are and I hope they are called as soon as possible. At the local Morgan, there is a closed circuit. A shame as my son comes out of the bathroom terrified as if they wanted to kill him, “he said.
