the correntino Ricardo Gonzalez went on to command the classification in the edition 104 of the Open of the South of golfwhich takes place in Mar del Plata, upon completion of the third and penultimate round of the contest that takes place in the first season of the 2023 season on the Professional Golf Tour of Argentina (TPGA).

The 53-year-old champion of the 2018 edition made use of all his experience to sign a card of 65 shots (-5) and thus stay ahead in the positions with 200 (-10)

There was a lot of wind in this third round at the Mar del Plata Golf Club, the stage located in the Playa Grande area. However, González knew how to adapt perfectly to the weather conditions.

“It wasn’t easy, especially the first few holes, all with a headwind, plus some tricky flag positions and increasingly harder greens, so I’m very satisfied with my round.”said the leader.

In second position is Exequiel López from Buenos Aires, with a record of 202 hits (-8), after a round of 69 (-1), while third is Jaime López Rivarola from Cordoba with 203 (-7), then from a round of 68 (-2).

Further back are Emilio Domínguez from San Luis, with 206 hits (-4), Miguel Angel Carballo from Bahia with 207 (-3) and Franco Scorzato from Lujan with 208 (-2).

The fourth and final round will start this Sunday from 1:30 p.m.
