- The Governor called on mayors and security commanders to strengthen the comprehensive security strategy
To provide peace and tranquility to the people of Potosí in the four regions, the Governor of San Luis Potosí Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, chaired a state meeting with municipal authorities and security commanders, in which he called for strengthening the comprehensive security strategy. to guarantee more support in well-being for families in the four regions.
Accompanied by the Secretary General of the Government, J. Guadalupe Torres Sánchez, as well as the head of the State Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, José Luis Ruiz Contreras, the State President announced that San Luis Potosí is going through important moments in matter of economic development, hence security is a priority.
During his speech, Governor Ricardo Gallardo highlighted the work carried out in security matters in coordination with federal agencies such as the National Guard and the Army, however he emphasized the coordination with municipal governments for the comprehensive transformation of the State.
In addition to the need to contribute more solidly along with the exchange of information and thus be able to know about their needs in the demarcations in order to be able to attend to them.
For his part, when speaking, the head of the SSPCE, José Luis Ruiz Contreras, confirmed that during 2025, city councils will have the full support of their authorities to strengthen the work of municipal corporations by providing equipment police, patrols as well as courses and permanent training for security forces.
