The Argentine ambassador in Spain, Ricardo Alfonsindemanded this Sunday that the radicals that make up Juntos por el Cambio (JxC) “do not invoke more” the old leaders of the UCR, by rejecting a proposal from the deputy martin tetaz about a possible alliance with the libertarian leader Javier Milei in the province of Buenos Aires for the next elections.
“But what is the limit? What do you want to do with the game? What do you want to turn it into?”Ambassador Alfonsín, son of the former president, asked himself about the UCR Raul Alfonsin.
“What would (Moisés) Lebenshon, (Hipólito) Yrigoyen, (Arturo) Illia, (Raúl) Alfonsín say? Please do not invoke them anymore!” the radical leader cried on his Twitter account.
And he clarified, between parentheses: “(Surely they will say that I write this tweet because of Milei’s grievances to RA but they know very well that it is not like that)”, accompanying his post with an interview from La Nación to Tetaz, in which the deputy proposes the alliance with Milei.

Tetaz acknowledged that the Buenos Aires governor, Axel Kicillof“even with poor management, with 37 or 38 percent of the votes, he can win, because there is no runoff in the Province.”
And he stated that “the agreement that I propose is very simple: let’s turn the October election in the province into a ballot, which puts the best candidate against Kicillof hand in hand. That is the way to win the province of Buenos Aires. If the best candidate in the province of Buenos Aires, in the PASO, is Milei’s, the rest of the candidates who get off and leave Milei’s candidate for governor”.
“If ours is the best, let him leave ours hand in hand with Kicillof and let him drop his. But we have to turn the October election into a ballot, which leaves the best opposition candidate hand in hand with Kicillof. From That way Kicillof ends in the province of Buenos Aires and we have many more chances in the national project,” he added.
