Ria Financial opens its offices in Querétaro

Queretaro, Qro. Ria Finance, a monetary transaction company, opened its offices in Querétaro; where it will provide customer service, and will also manage its operations in Latin America.

Currently the signature employs 306 peoplereferred the general director of Ria América, Rosario Escárpita.

According to the directive, it is expected that the company is consolidated as one of the main financial entities residing in the entity.

“We are very satisfied, we know that it was a very wise decision, we are not only exceeding growth expectations in Querétaro, since we are already above 306 (collaborators) and hiring an average of about 30 people per month”, he detailed.

The Ria CEO Shawn Fielder, highlighted that Querétaro is an optimal place for the development of the company; for which he highlighted benefits such as human capital, security and the economic environment, as well as the essential resources to provide support to its clients at an international level.

The governor, Mauricio Kuri Gonzalezcommented that the installation of this type of companies in the state provides added value to the entity, in terms of competitiveness.

“Those who give the jobs, those who support to be able to have the companies are the businessmen, and what we have to do as public servants is to give them all the conditions, as Shawn commented, of security, of harmony, of work, to that they can continue to see Querétaro as that great business center,” he said.

Similarly, he highlighted the global trajectory of the company, which began operations in 1987 and has spread to 160 countries, providing money transfer services to migrants.

The Secretary of Sustainable Development (Sedesu), Marco Antonio Del Prete Thirdhighlighted that in Querétaro the financial and insurance sector contributed 14,809 million pesos to the GDP in 2020, reporting an annual growth of 2.3 percent.

In the state there are 2,279 economic units of the sector; branch that employs 14,257 people, registered with the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS).

In January 2020, Ria Financial announced that it would install a support office and remittance transfer operations center in Querétaro to provide service in Latin America; project in which it would invest 57 million pesos, with the expectation of generating 500 jobs.
