This Thursday, the revolutionary people mobilized in the streets of Caracas, as part of the Great March in support of the Law against Fascism, Neofascism and Similar Expressions, as well as in support of the victory of the re-elected president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros.
In this regard, the Vice President of Mobilization and Events of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nahum Fernandezaccompanied by members of the National Directorate of the red party, said: “Here we are, those of us who love our country. Our daily effort is to guarantee what has cost us so much to be respected: sovereignty.”
In light of the recent certification of the election results by the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), he stressed that it had been proven who the winning candidate was in the last presidential election. “The tour of our candidate, Nicolás Maduro, in all regions of the national territory, announced a great victory that was achieved on July 28.”
He said that, with the victory of the revolutionary candidate, peace won in Venezuela and invited professionals, housewives and the entire family to study the fascist politics of the extreme right. “We are going to deepen the laws to protect the people from violence. A plan as macabre as the one they had on July 29 and 30 should never be repeated. What we want is prosperity for the country,” concluded Fernandez.
AN open to the people
The President of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, welcomed the march outside Parliament and stated that the doors of the National Assembly will always be open to the people and stressed that they will demand justice so that each and every one of the crimes committed after the elections of July 28 do not go unpunished. “Those guilty of the deaths and hate crimes must receive an exemplary punishment so that they understand that fascism has no place in Venezuela.”
He stressed that there are strong institutions in the country, with brave and honest authorities, to defend the peace of the Republic. “The Supreme Court of Justice ratified with its ruling that the president-elect is Nicolás Maduro Moros, a working-class president of the country.”
Rodríguez called on the Venezuelan people to remain mobilized in the streets in defense of the Bolivarian Revolution, “we must not rest on our laurels, we must continue to take care of ourselves and always be alert.”
