Review of the Electoral Regime Law will continue

The members of the Plenary of the Central Electoral Board (JCE) will continue this Tuesday with the review of the draft amendments to the Electoral Regime Law recently approved by the Senate of the Republic.

“The plenary session of the Central Electoral Board met today with the only item on the agenda, which is to begin to know the approval of the bill that reforms the Electoral Regime Law in the Senate of the Republic, we began to learn about it, we took a break to continue the studies, it is simply to make a comparative analysis of what was proposed with what was approved and we will continue tomorrow,” said the President of the JCE, Román Jáquez Liranzo.

He said that the plenary will opportunely give an opinion on the project, which is what has been shared so far among the members of the electoral body and civil registry.

Jáquez said they are reading the full bill.
