The Federal Revenue pays this Tuesday (30) a residual batch of Personal Income Tax (IRPF) refunds for the month of December 2025.
The batch consists of 263,255 refunds intended for priority and non-priority taxpayers, with a total value of R$605,998,834.65.
The Revenue informed, in a note, that the refunds include declarations from 2025 transmitted after the deadline, with outstanding issues already settled, in addition to residual values from previous years.
Of the total amount, R$309.6 million will be allocated to taxpayers with legal priority, distributed as follows:
- seniors aged 80 and over: 5,310 refunds;
- seniors between 60 and 79 years old: 34,796 refunds;
- people with physical, mental disabilities or serious illnesses: 4,087 refunds;
- taxpayers whose largest source of income is teaching: 11,344 refunds.
In addition to these, 178,030 refunds will be allocated to taxpayers who do not have legal priority, but received priority for using the pre-filled declaration and/or for having chosen to receive payment via Pix.
Another 29,688 refunds will be paid to non-priority taxpayers.
To consult your income tax refund, you must access the Recipe page click on My Income Tax and then on Consult my refund.
It is also possible to consult the batch through the Federal Revenue application for tablets and smartphones, which allows you to check the release of refunds and the registration status of the Individual Taxpayer Registry (CPF).
Payment of the refund, according to the Revenue, is only made into the account of the holder of the declaration. “In this way, security routines prevent payment if there is an error in the bank details provided or there is a problem with the destination account”.
“In case of error in bank details, the IRS offers the rescheduling service, offered by Banco do Brasil (BB) for a period of up to one year after the first credit attempt.”
