The consultation of the residual lot of refund of the Individual Income Tax for the month of April 2022 is available. This lot includes residual refunds from previous years, informed the Federal Revenue.
The bank credit for 210,153 taxpayers will be carried out on April 29, in the total amount of R$ 180,556,530.18. Of this total, BRL 72,376,567.04 refers to the number of taxpayers that have legal priority: 3,188 elderly people over 80 years of age, 25,119 people aged between 60 and 79 years, 2,295 taxpayers with some physical or mental disability or illness serious and 9,203 taxpayers whose main source of income is teaching. 170,448 non-priority taxpayers were also covered.
To find out if the refund is available, the taxpayer must access the Revenue page on the internetclick on My Income Tax and then on Consult the Refund.
According to the Revenue, this page presents guidelines and service delivery channels, allowing simplified or complete consultation of the declaration status, through the processing extract, accessed on the e-CAC. If there is any pending in the declaration, the taxpayer can rectify the declaration, correcting the information that may be wrong.
The Federal Revenue also provides an application for tablets and smartphones which makes it possible to directly consult information on the release of IRPF refunds and the registration status of an enrollment in the CPF.
Payment of the refund is made directly to the bank account informed in the Income Tax Return. If, for some reason, the credit is not carried out (for example, the informed account has been deactivated), the amounts will be available for redemption for up to one year at Banco do Brasil. In this case, the citizen will be able to reschedule the credit of the amounts through the BB Portal, accessing the address or calling the BB Relationship Center through the telephone numbers 4004-0001 (capital cities), 0800-729-0001 (other locations) and 0800-729-0088 (special telephone exclusively for the hearing impaired).
If the taxpayer does not redeem the amount of his refund within one year, he must make the request through the e-CAC Portal, available on the Federal Revenue Service website, accessing the Declarations and Statements > My Income Tax menu and clicking on Request refund not redeemed in the banking network.
