The mayor of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez, unveiled the Paseo Monument on April 13, from the Libertador municipality.
The event, which also included the comprehensive rehabilitation of the Plaza los Libertadores, was chaired by Meléndez, who recalled “the place where the people met on that historic date”, after the popular victory after the coup d’état suffered by Commander Chavez.
From her official Twitter account, the mayor also added that “through the Plan Gran Caracas Patriota, Bella y Segura we recover this square, which from now on will be a space for art, culture, entrepreneurship, history and recreation.”
Meléndez, from the social network, was also mobilized in the capital city, accompanying the people of Caracas through the seven temples, as is the tradition during Holy Week.
