The 2nd stage of the 2024 Revalida exams will take place this Saturday (20) and Sunday (21). Access to the exam locations for the National Exam for Revalidation of Medical Degrees Issued by a Foreign Higher Education Institution (Revalida) was released from 11 am today and will be released from 3 pm on Sunday.
The tests will start after the gates close, scheduled for 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm, respectively. Participants must wear a lab coat (preferably white).
The exam is used to revalidate the diplomas of doctors, both foreign and Brazilian, who graduated abroad and want to work in Brazil.
Composed of two stages (theoretical and practical), Revalida addresses the five major areas of medicine, in an interdisciplinary manner: clinical medicine, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics and family and community medicine (collective health).
Participation in the second stage depends on passing the first stage, which includes the objective and discursive tests. To pass the second stage, participants must obtain at least 64.277 points out of 100.
Those approved in the second stage will also undergo a clinical skills exam, which is structured into a set of 10 stations, in which the participant must perform specific tasks in the five main areas.
The objective of Revalida is to assess skills, competencies and knowledge necessary for professional practice in accordance with the principles and needs of the SUS.
