The Vía al Llano will have a reversible route towards Bogotá between 1:00 pm and 10:00 pm due to the Holiday Return Plan.
The Coviandina concessionaire, in coordination with the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI), the Ministry of Transport, the National Road Safety Agency (ANSV), the Traffic Police and the departmental and municipal Mobility Secretariats, announced that starting at one in the afternoon this Monday, December 8, the Road Operation Plan that includes reversible operation towards the country’s capital.
“The Bogotá–Villavicencio corridor was activated on the occasion of the return during the festive long weekend in commemoration of the Day of the Immaculate Conception. The reversible operation will be from 1 in the afternoon until 10 at night”the authorities confirmed.
Various measures on the Vía al Llano
The authorities recalled that the concessionaire maintains all works or technical interventions that may affect mobility suspendedto facilitate the return of travelers.

Likewise, it was reinforced the presence of personnel at toll stations, road inspection units, car-workshops, ambulances, tow trucks, and rescue and incident response teamsto accompany the drivers who travel along that road corridor.
“There will be 24-hour availability of yellow machinery and other necessary equipment to respond in a timely manner to any situation that may arise.”confirmed Coviandina.
Traffic authorities asked travelers Pay attention to the instructions of the Coviandina traffic controllersin the event of any situation that may arise along the 85 kilometers of the Vía al Llano.
Another recommendation to drivers is Do not exceed the speed limits and maintain a safety distance of 50 meters between vehiclesespecially in tunnels and viaducts.
