As of February next year, 237,000 pensioners of the National Pension System (SNP) will receive an increase in the amount they charge as a result of an adjustment to the cap made by the Executive.
In this way, beneficiaries will be able to collect up to S/1,000, according to supreme decree 330-2025-EF issued by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), which reaches people with the right to a definitive pension as of December 31.
“In the case of retirement pensions, the measure includes those granted with a minimum of 20 years of contributions. The increase can reach up to S/ 100 and, for those who have already received a previous increase in application of Law No. 32123, the differential amount necessary to complete said benefit will be granted,” stated the Pension Normalization Office (ONP).
The payment of the pensions with the corresponding increase will be made together with the payment for February 2026, because the payroll for the month of January has already been processed, considering the number of pensioners that it administers from the SNP and its payment begins on January 12, 2026.
The estimated annual impact of this measure on the pension payroll amounts to S/ 311 million, an amount that will be financed from the ONP’s institutional budget.
