“When do we retirees get paid?”, published a user on the social network Twitter, this Tuesday, July 11.
According to the schedule managed by various union groups, the payment of the recreational bonus for retirees should be made on July 25, as confirmed by the Telegram channel for payments of the Ministry of Education.
«July 25, 2023. Payment of the 60-day Recreational Bonus to retired Teachers, Administrative and Workers. Clause 58 of the II CC.”, they published in Pagos MPPE. So far, this schedule has been met.
On August 10, it is expected that the 60 days of vacations will be canceled for active workers in schools, while on August 25 the payment will be for administrative personnel.
Complaints about the amount of the vacation bonus
Some educators denounce that the equivalent of the payment is the same as last year and that it is insufficient. Others expressed confusion because they have not yet received their due money.
«Today the regime, ignoring all collective agreements, canceled the misery of the vacation bonus for teachers. If there is any dignity in them, they must understand the need to leave the country and their accomplices, 2024 is the people’s turn,” wrote user Carlos Escobar Sifontes.
Workers indicated that they deposited the fortnight and the vacation bonus, but the amount of the latter varies according to the level of the teacher. According to a user, 60 days corresponding to the vacation bonus were deposited. Until now, the Ministry of Education has not given details in this regard.
