The Ministry of Education (MEC) released this Monday (2) the results of the second call for the University for All Program (Prouni) for the first semester of 2026.
The list can be consulted on the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education, at Prouni tab. You need to log in to the platform Gov.br.
The University for All Program (ProUni) offers full (100% free tuition) and partial (50%) scholarships at private universities for low-income students.
Supporting documentation
Between the 2nd and 13th of March, pre-selected candidates must submit documentation that proves the information provided in their application directly to the private higher education institution where they were selected.
The student can attend the private college to physically hand over the documentation to employees, at the places where higher education is offered. Another means is to forward the documentation virtually, via electronic means made available by the institution, in a specific field, on its website.
Scholarships
The requirement to receive the full scholarship is to prove family income less than or equal to one and a half minimum wages per person. For the partial scholarship (50%), family income cannot exceed three minimum wages per person.
The MEC celebrates that the 2026 edition is the biggest in the history of Prouni, with 22 years of existence.
This year, 595,374 scholarships are being offered, in 895 courses at 1,046 private higher education institutions across the country.
High school certification
Candidates aged 18 or over who took the National High School Examination (Enem) in 2025 – and meet the prerequisites set out in the Enem notice – must request a declaration of completion to present at college.
The National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) made an authenticated document available onEnem Participant Pagewhich will allow pre-registration of those pre-selected in higher education institutions of Prouni candidates.
Second call
For those who are keeping an eye on the remaining vacancies and were not selected in the first and second calls, they must express their interest in participating in the Prouni waiting list, between March 25th and 26th, 2026, through Single Portal for Access to Higher Education.
All information about the rules of the selection process is in the Notice no. 2/2026.
