The Ministry of Education (MEC) discloses, on Sunday (26), the result of the Unified Selection System (Sisu) 2025. 261,779 vacancies are offered for 6,851 undergraduate courses in 124 public higher education institutions in all regions of the country.
The result can be accessed by the Sisu page at Single Portal of Higher Education Access. Until 4:50 pm this Sunday, the result had not yet been made available and MEC clarified that there is no instability in the system and no specific time for disclosure, and may occur at any time throughout the day.
The selection is based on the average of the grades obtained in the National High School Exam (Enem), respecting the limit of vacancies available for each course and competition modality. The selection considers the choices of registered candidates, as well as their social and economic profiles, according to the Quota Law.
Enrollment occurred from 17 to 21 this month, when students were able to choose up to two course options from those offered. Anyone who is not selected at either course options indicated at the time of registration can still compete for one of the vacancies through Sisu’s waiting list.
The period of enrollment in educational institutions is from January 27 to 31. Already the deadline to express interest in participating in the waiting list begins with the disclosure of the result and runs until January 31.
All students who participated in Enem 2024 obtained a grade in the writing test greater than zero and did not claim to be in the condition of trainer were able to participate in Sisu 2025. In addition to Sisu, it is possible to try other ways of access to higher education through the University for All Program (Prouni) and the Student Financing Fund (Fies).
