Recently specialized media have begun to expose the news that would arrive in an upcoming update for the application ‘Digital Wellbeing’ of Google, currently present on Android.
The new update would give the platform the ability to record and analyze the sounds that the user makes while he is sleeping.
According to information from the portal the ‘AndroidFree‘, this new option can be used by means of a ‘rest mode‘ which will make it possible for the app to start storing information about snoring and other sounds that may be emitted during the user’s sleep period.

The platform could then issue a report, in the form of graphs, on the data that the platform analyzed.
Added to this, it was indicated that this new ‘sleep mode’ allows you to set a schedule to be able to silence the phone for a period of time, in the same way, the equipment will use the light sensors and movement to establish if the user’s sleep was interrupted.
It should be noted that this new option will not operate without the consent of the useras the platform will request permissions to be able to activate the phone’s microphone and thus record snoring and other sounds that are emitted.
Apparently the google bet with his Android operating system is to be able to help users to know more information so that they can improve the quality of your sleep.
