Residents of Samaipata block the road in protest against the murder of a teenager

Inhabitants of Piedras Blancas and Samaipata they block the road to the Valleys, demanding that justice be done for the death of a 16-year-old adolescent, with seven bullet wounds.

The boy’s death occurred on Thursday around noon, when a group of community members from Piedras Blancas entered a wooded arealooking for the origin of a cloud of smoke that they thought was a fire on the grounds of the Amboró National Park.

However, the community members were attacked by unknown individuals carrying firearms, which caused the death of the teenager and left three others injured.

The Samaipata Police arrested four foreigners suspected of being the perpetrators of the act, including a French citizen who was carrying a firearm. This Saturday, the justice granted alternative measures to the foreigner.

The municipal mayor Eustaquio Casilla and the leader of Central Florida, David Mariscal, They ask the Government to carry out searches in the area to find people who are engaged in illegal activities.
