Residents of Rio Bonito do Iguaçu (PR) can now request withdrawal from the Service Time Guarantee Fund (FGTS). The city was one of the most affected by the passage of a tornado last week, which left homes destroyed and more than 750 families displaced.
The request, released since Tuesday (11), can be made through the FGTS Application, without needing to go to a Caixa branch. You Residents can withdraw funds until February 6, 2026.
To make the request, you must have a balance in your FGTS account and not have made a withdrawal due to a calamity in a period of less than 12 months.
THE maximum withdrawal amount is up to R$6,220limited to the balance in the account.
Caixa Econômica Federal estimates that around 5,200 workers in Rio Bonito do Iguaçu will be able to access the benefit, with an average value of R$1,222 per person.

– Download the FGTS app and enter registration information; go to the option “Request your 100% digital withdrawal” or go to the “Withdrawals” bottom menu and select “Request withdrawal”: Click on “Public calamity” — Enter the name of the municipality and select from the list – Select the type of proof of address and enter the zip code and residence number;
– Forward the following documents: photo of identity document, proof of residence in the worker’s name issued up to 120 days before the calamity was declared;
– Select the option to credit the amount to a CAIXA account, including Poupança Digital CAIXA Tem, or another bank and send the request.

– Identity Card – driving license and passport are also accepted – it is necessary to send the document on both sides;
– Selfie (face photo) with the same identification document appearing in the photo;
– Proof of residence in the worker’s name: electricity, water, telephone, gas bill, internet and/or TV bill, credit card bill, among others issued up to 120 days before the calamity is declared;
– If you do not have proof of residence, the citizen must present a declaration from the municipality attesting that the worker is a resident of the affected area;
– Workers who do not have proof of residence may also present their own declaration, containing their full name, CPF, date of birth, full residential address, including zip code. This information will be verified by CAIXA, in the official records of the Federal Government;
– Marriage Certificate or Public Deed of Stable Union, if proof of residence is in the name of the spouse or partner.
Bolsa Família
Bolsa Família payments were unified in 38 municipalities in Paraná that will be impacted by the tornado. In Rio Bonito do Iguaçu there are 1,465 families in the program. The total transfer is R$968.53 thousand. Resources can now be used from this Friday (14).
Beneficiaries in Rio Bonito do Iguaçu (PR) will already receive the credit from this Friday (14), regardless of the final NIS number. The measure was adopted as an immediate response to the serious devastation caused by the tornado and aims to guarantee emergency support to the local population.
The municipalities with unified payment are: Rio Bonito do Iguaçu, Alto Piquiri, Altônia, Alvorada do Sul, Astorga, Barbosa Ferraz, Bom Sucesso, Calif., Cambira, Cantagalo, Cruzeiro do Oeste, Goioxim, Jandaia do Sul, Leópolis, Mandaguaçu, Miraselva, Nova Aurora, Pitangueiras, Planalto, Quarto Centenário, Quinta do Sol, Rolândia, Roncador, Santa Fé, Santa Helena, São João do Ivaí, São Pedro do Ivaí, Sertaneja, Boa Ventura de São Roque, Castro, Dois Vizinhos, Santa Maria do Oeste, Arapua, Ramilandia, Barracão, Terra Rica, Inacio Martins and São João do Triunfo.
