Residents of Paso Centurión will request a raft to cross with a Brazilian city

Residents of Paso Centurión in Uruguay and the Municipality of Herval in Brazil who live on both borders of the Yaguarón River, will ask the authorities of both countries to set up a raft that allows integration between both communities.

Paso Centurión is part of the National System of Protected Areas (SNAP).

This Saturday, friends, neighbors, authorities from the Cerro Largo Intendancy, the Departmental Board, the Mayor of Centurión, the Vice Prefect of Herva and the National Navy through the Rio Branco Prefecture, held a day of fellowship and welcome Uruguayan motorcyclist Heber Estefa.

Estefa traveled 19,000 km on an expedition through Brazil to reach the Venezuelan border, later returning to the country. The motorcyclist crossed by boat next to the birodado from the border on the Yaguaron River.

During the meeting, they exchanged ideas and actions on the proposal of the raft.
