Santo Domingo. Residents of the Los Tres Brazos sector are clamoring for the Titling of the sector to be resolved without delay after the “No place” issued by Judge Juan Francisco Rodríguez Consoró after the case of the alleged irregular sale of the land in the populous sector of Santo Domingo Este . The graduates call on President Luis Abinader to end this uncertainty.
The community organizations of Los Tres Brazos spoke to the press to convey the message and the cry to President Luis Abinader and the Attorney General of the Republic, Magistrate Mirian German Brito, to stop and persecute the “fabricated” case of Los Tres Brazos, since as they understand this sector has been ignored for more than 50 years and now that in recent years more than a thousand families have had access to their property titles they want to demonize it.
According to the residents of the sector, some 429 families had bought directly from the Dominican Corporation of State Enterprises (CORDE) without being titled, some more than 30 years ago and it is now when the government implemented a file five years ago, through decree 392 -16 that establishes the immediate suspension of the sale or resale of real estate in the Tres Brazos and the eviction of the occupants, violating the Constitution of the Dominican Republic and leaving more than six thousand families, most of them elderly, in legal limbo, without access to ownership and without any legal guarantee to those who had already acquired them.
They call on the Magistrate, Attorney General of the Republic Licda. Mirian German Brito to comply with her words when he states that “You cannot act administering justice for the stands” since the State has concentrated all its media and legal power to prosecute an operation in all legal light and will benefit politically, without favoring the community in any way and harming it, because today if justice is not allowed to act, the case it will become eternal without the inhabitants being able to make definitive use of the property titles.
They understand that those who orchestrated the Los Tres Brazos file now want to link this case to impunity from the shadows, creating doubts in society, when the law is clear and precise in this regard and a sale of CORDE has never required going to Congress.
“The neighborhood associations of the Los Tres Brazos sector want our Titles, acquired legally and that were endorsed by the State and that today politicians want to deprive us of them, we are and will be fighting both in the Attorney General’s Office and in the Real Estate Jurisdiction defending our rights” they express.
“It’s been six decades of waiting, and we need a quick solution to their situation, more retaliation, no more waiting; say no to the media power that I left established in the previous government that violates the law and democracy and that they intend to judge from the stands”
“Mr. President, our sector wants to be part of the change, not wait 20 more years for our rights to be recognized, we do not want an appeal, nor Litis” They express.
On June 6, the judge of the Sixth Investigating Court of the National District issued Juna Francisco Rodríguez Consoró issued an order of “no place” in favor of all those involved in the alleged illegal sale of land in the Los Tres Brazo sector, understands that the Public Ministry does not have sufficient evidence to justify sending those involved in the long Three Arms case to trial.
