Reservas País Foundation will strengthen entrepreneurs

The Country Reserves Foundation signed an agreement with the international organization Nantik Lum to favor the enterprising Dominicans who reside in Spain and who wish to create or strengthen your projects business in the Dominican Republic.

“We are happy to sign this agreement with the Nantik Lum Foundation which, among other issues, also contemplates exchanging experiences for strengthening with the Spanish and European national microfinance and entrepreneurship networks,” he said. The document signed by Perez Majluta and Juan Riva de Aldamapresident of Nantik Lum, contemplates the commitment of both institutions to carry out joint projects financed by European Funds to, among other issues, lay the foundations for Dominican immigrants in Spain develop microenterprise or enterprise projects in their country, in collaboration with cooperatives that can monitor the start-up of these businesses.

Educational platform

In a first phase, Reservas del País will make the Nantik Lum Entrepreneurship and Microfinance Platform (PEM) available to micro-enterprises and entrepreneurs through its website, and then adapt said Educational Platform to the Dominican reality..

With this agreement, the Reservas del País Foundation crosses, for the first time, the borders of the Dominican Republic, hand in hand with the Nantik Lum Foundation, an international cooperation entity based in Spain whose mission is to combat social, financial and labor exclusion.

Reserves of the Country is a Nonprofit entitypart of the Reservas Family, which contributes to improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable microenterprise population and strengthening their businesses, through financing and strengthening solidarity microfinance institutions such as cooperatives, social economy groups, and non-profit associations with microcredit programs.
