Cicpc agents rescued a teenager who was the victim of a network dedicated to human trafficking, the scientific police reported on their Instagram site.
The 14-year-old girl is a native of Mérida, an entity where she was reported missing by her mother. The rescue occurred in the passenger terminal of Maracay, capital of Aragua.
In her first statements, the girl told the Cicpc agents that she was contacted by a woman who offered her a job and then abandoned her.
After the girl was rescued, she was taken to a health center where she was subjected to check-ups that revealed a good state of health, as reported by the Cicpc.
