Rescued teenager and an adult

A teenager and an adult were rescued in different procedures carried out by agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), according to military sources.

In the Los Holandas sector, Andrés Eloy Blanco municipality, Barinas state, the military rescued a fourth-year high school student from Valera, Trujillo, who would presumably be transferred to Ecuador.

The GNB officials called the young woman’s father and he stated that he had reported her missing to the Cicpc-Trujillo.

During the procedure, Cesar Alejandro Pineda Núñez was detained, who was handed over to the Public Ministry where he was criminally prosecuted for being the alleged perpetrator of the act.

The other rescued person is identified as Ángel de Jesús Pulgar Ferrer, who was held in a wooded area in the Curva de Colón sector of Santa Bárbara del Zulia.

Pulgar Ferrer had been kidnapped since last Saturday and his rescue took place early this Monday morning by members of the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas), Sur del Lago de Maracaibo, Zulia.

Parallel to the rescue, the military detained José Londoño (El Wincho), a Colombian national, from whom they seized a radio transmitter, telephone equipment and a Chevrolet Spark, license plate AA176YK, owned by the victim.

The Public Ministry was notified of both procedures.
