Rescued from the CECOT deliver a letter to the Red Cross in Geneva

The Venezuelans rescued from the Center for Confinement of Terrorism (CECOT), located in El Salvador, delivered to the authorities of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the city of Geneva, Switzerland, a letter to denounce the violations of torture, inhuman treatment that received the 252 young people in the aforementioned place, as well as all irregular situations lived in their detention in the United States, portal of VTV.

“We pronounced ourselves in the name of the 252 Venezuelans who were unfairly deprived of our liberty, since we were under physical and verbally.

Blanco also called on international authorities not to allow human rights violations and do not be treated or called as terrorists and criminals for their physical appearance.

On September 10, the representation of the Venezuelans kidnapped in the aforementioned prison in the Central American country demanded from Geneva the United Nations Organization (UN) that are pronounced regarding the human rights violations suffered by Venezuelan migrants at the Center for Confinement of Terrorism.

It should be remembered that on July 18 the 252 Venezuelans, who in an irregular way, violating all international laws, were sent by the administration of Donald Trump to a maximum security prison in El Salvador, without having committed any crime.
