‘Rescue plan’ launched by Findeter to support projects in municipalities

At the 2022 National Meeting of Mayors, organized by Fedemunicipios, the president of the Territorial Development Bank (Findeter), Ricardo Bonilla, announced at the launch of the “Rescue Plan” with which it seeks to support municipalities that have projects to be developed with difficulties and that need resources or have their structuring pending.

With this in mind, Findeter will have up to $200,000 million for the projects that the mayors present within the framework of the rescue plan.

“We will be able to finance these initiatives through our rediscount credits, so that the territorial entities make these works that will improve the quality of life of their communities a reality,” said the president of Findeter.

With this work, Findeter plans to work in line with the National Development Plan and work hand in hand with the Government on roads and infrastructure “for peace, energy efficiency, health, economy for climate change, territorial impulse for a productive economy and social justice for life through investment and social and credit inclusion”, Bonila points out.

According to Findeter figures, in the last five years the Bank has mobilized more than $6.35 trillion in technical assistance for projects in different municipalities of the country and has disbursed more than $14.1 trillion through direct credits and rediscount credits. specifically for municipalities categories 4, 5 and 6Findeter has mobilized more than $3.2 billion in technical assistance for projects and has disbursed $340 billion in 81 municipalities.
