The Secretary of Education opened a third call for ‘Reto a La U’, a program that allows recently graduated high school graduates to Take one of the 354 courses offered by 10 Higher Education Institutions in Bogotá.
According to the entity, The new call is open from this December 27 and those interested in applying, may do so until next January 10, 2022 Through the page of the Ministry of Education, news section.
“The program will finance up to eight (8) academic credits in accordance with the offer arranged for the first semester of 2022 by the universities, in agreement with the District Secretary of Education,” the entity reported through a statement.

It should be noted that like other educational initiatives of the Government, ‘Reto a La U’ will have support for the beneficiaries up to a minimum wage per semester, depending on the number of academic credits enrolled.
What are the universities that are part of the program?
The National University of Colombia, Antonio Nariño University, Forest University, La Salle University, University of Applied and Environmental Sciences – UDCA, ECCI University, Externado University of Colombia, Minuto de Dios University, San Buenaventura University and Sergio Arboleda University are the 10 Institutions of Higher Education that are part of the call.
Requirements to apply
According to the Ministry of Education, those interested in applying must meet the following conditions:
- Be a graduate with a bachelor’s degree from an official or private educational institution of the Capital District.
- Having presented the Knowledge test or State test for access to higher education (Law 30 of 1992).
- Be under 28 years of age.
- Not having registration as a contributing dependent or independent worker in the security system in the last 3 months from the opening of the call.
- Not being a student of an undergraduate program and not having completed higher education programs in the last year from the opening of the call.

How to sign up?
- Before completing the registration process, applicants must bear in mind that they must bear in mind that the registration number of the test must be 11 to register, in addition to taking into account the score obtained in the test.
- Take the socio-occupational orientation test on the page of the Ministry of National Education to identify which higher education programs are the most related to your interests and aptitudes.
- Access the registration form through the page of the Ministry of Education.
- Once the information is saved, the registration process will be confirmed and the system will send an email to continue with the process.
