It is an alternative for young people, between 18 and 30 years old, who do not have the economic resources to study at a university or institute. Currently there are 836 young people serving the country through Voluntary Military Service.

WHEN IS REGISTRATION FOR THE VOLUNTARY MILITARY SERVICE IN THE MARINA DE GUERRA DEL PERU?
The director of the Grumetes School (Diresgrum), Frigate Captain Fernando Rubio Olivari, told the Andean agency that the registrations for the third call for Voluntary Military Service 2022 They began on October 3 and end on the 30th. Those selected, in the month of December, must start their training stage -which lasts 3 months- and then continue with the training.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A BOY ROOM IN THE PERU NAVY?
- National Identity Document (DNI).
- Proof of Military Enrollment (Qualification selected).
- Copy of study certificates or proof of learning achievements (Minedu).
- Complete primary minimum.
- Be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Minimum height: ladies: 1.50 m. and men: 1.55 m.
CAN I APPLY IF I HAVE PROOF OF OTHER ARMED FORCES?
Yes. Applicants who have a Proof of Military Registration from other Armed Forces (Peruvian Air Force or Peruvian Army), can apply without restrictions.

WHAT SPECIALIZATIONS DOES THE PERU NAVY OF WAR OFFER?
The eight specializations that the Navy offers to young volunteers are:
- Office Assistant.
- Naval Police Auxiliary.
- Deck Crew.
- Services Assistant.
- Musician’s Assistant.
- Coast Guard Auxiliary.
- Marine Infantry Crew.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEER MILITARY SERVICE IN THE PERU MARINA DE GUERRA?
- If you finished the first year, you can apply to the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Naval (CITEN). you will have a 50% off of the registration fee. Those who do not manage to enter due to economic issues or other types of situations can re-enlist and continue in the Navy as bakers, drivers or hairdressers.
- Once you have completed your military service and obtained your discharge, you can apply for Beca 18, the Instituto de Educación Superior Tecnológico Público “De las Fuerzas Armadas” and even have discounts at some universities in the country.
- Free care and social assistance from the moment they enter the Peruvian Navy.
- Monthly financial allowance according to law.
- Possibility of completing your secondary studies through alternative basic education programs (EBA); and training in Productive Technical Education Centers.
