According to the TSE, the numbers represent an increase of 278% compared to the first round of the 2018 presidential elections, when 8,900 requests were received. In comparison with the second round of that year, when 83,400 requests were received, the growth is 277%.

Numbers

The state of São Paulo, the largest electoral college in the country, registered 82,300 requests to vote in transit, with 38,000 requests requested by people from São Paulo who will vote outside their city, but within the state. The remainder (44,300) are voters from other states who will vote in São Paulo.

The date to apply for a transit vote ended on August 18. Those who made the request within the deadline can consult the polling place in the e-Título application and on the TSE portal.
