Unknown persons broke into a home belonging to President Franco, from where they stole some 18 million guaraníes corresponding to savings for housework, electronic devices, and other objects. They also took the cat.
In the absence of the owners, a home located in the city of Presidente Franco, department of Alto Paraná, was violated and emptied. The access gate was destroyed.
“I came home from work and found my house totally messy. They took out the iron and broke everything, our money was not there, our safe was open, I had 18 million for the expansion of our house,” said Lorena Resquín, a victim of the incident, impotently.

In an interview with Npy, the woman said that just five months ago she had moved to live there with her husband and that they were still finishing paying for the works.
In addition to the 18 million guaraníes, the thieves took jewelry, notebooks and even a Angora cat, family pet.
The house is in a sparsely populated area and there are no surveillance cameras on the block. However, witnesses say they saw a man leaving with a black bag.
